Diane Lindgren is a Licensed Professional Counselor with the State of Texas and is on staff with Pastoral Counseling and Education Center.  She is counseling here at First United Methodist Church of The Colony on Thursdays from 12 - 8pm.  Her phone number is (214) 526-4525.

Diane is a native Minnesotan, who moved to Texas in 1991.  After a lengthy and varied career with a major telecommunications corporation, she returned to school to pursue a degree in counseling.  Diane graduated with a Master of Arts in counseling from Dallas Theological Seminar.  In addition to the required course work, she has taken training in critical incident management, mediation, negotiations, conflict resolution, and

family violence.  She continues attending workshops to strengthen her skills in counseling. 

After completing the educational requirements for licensure, Diane was selected as a fellow Pastor Counseling and Education Center in Texas and as a victim’s advocate intern with a nearby police department.  After completing all requirements for licensure with the state of Texas, Diane accepted a staff counseling position at Pastor Counseling and Education Center.
